CAN YOU SUBSTITUTE WINES WE DON'T DRINK?

Absolutely. But I hand select all my wines and hope to share with you, wines that might suprise you.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

As much or as little as you like. Things such as:

  • How to properly swirl, sniff and sip wine

  • What it means when someone says it tastes like 'forest floor' or uses a word like terroir

  • How to pair wine & food

  • How to buy a delicious bottle of wine in a bottle shop

  • How to select a wine like a pro from a restaurant wine list (and no its not the second cheapest option, or the most expensive either)

  • What effect does soil, weather and wine making have on wine

Our standard package generally comes with 3 white and 3 red wines. A sample list can be found here

Requests are loved and encouraged. Have you always wanted to try a Grüner Veltliner? Never heard of a Nebbiolo? Want to impress with a full list of French wines, just let me know and I am happy to help.

WHO PROVIDES THE FOOD/CATERING AND WHY?

In order to ensure responsible service of alcohol, food must be available during your event. I am more than happy to provide, through gorgeous local suppliers, the food but you are also welcome to do it yourself.

WHERE CAN I HOST MY EVENT?

Any private space:

  • Your home

  • Air BnB

  • Your office

  • Your business

  • Hired venues

  • Conference facilities

I can transform any space into your own private cellar door.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Full payment is required 7 days prior to your event (larger events may require 14 days to allow for wine deliveries) and from then on a cancellation surcharge of 20% will be added to each cancelling guest. If you wish to cancel the entire event less than 7 days prior, a 50% surcharge will be charged, however give me a call, I am a kind human,  if you re-book rather than cancel this may be waived.

IS THERE A TRAVELLING FEE?

Included in your event costings is a 30 minute (via Google maps) transit from my office located in Nowra. Should your event occur further away than that, a small travel fee may be added. Be sure to request a quote as larger bookings may have their travel fee waived.
